This cake was made using the Rocking Horse cake pan. It was a funfetti cake with buttercream icing. The horn was a rainbow spiral lollipop I had ordered through Oriental Trading. My daughter's birthday theme was unicorns and rainbows. She designed how she wanted the unicorn to look (mane and tail had to be rainbow, a heart needed to be on the back, and pink icing had to fit in somewhere). I painted the icing bag with red, blue, green, orange and yellow and filled with white buttercream icing to make the rainbow mane and tail. Saturday, May 22, 2010

Easter Cookies
My girls and I made these for our Easter Celebration. They are sugar cookies with rolled buttercream icing. The detail work is with white royal icing. The butterflies have edible silver balls for their eyes. We outlined some of the tulip flowers with the royal icing, but decided we liked the plain ones better.

Cassie's 4th Birthday
My friend's daughter was having an Imagination Movers themed party. I was given a picture by the little girl of how she wanted her cake. The original picture had four tiers, but I decided to go with just three. These cakes were made by using 8 x 8 and 13 x 9 pans. They are yellow and funfetti cakes. No filling this time. I used the 8 x 8 as my base and then cut down the 13 x 9 into smaller squares to stack. The entire cake is iced in buttercream frosting. Posted by Kristin at 7:35 AM 0 comments

Lucky Cookies
These are sugar cookies with rolled buttercream icing. I made them for my daughter's Daisy Troop. I wrapped each cookie in a clear bag and tied them with green ribbon that read, "Made With Love" on it. I forgot to take an after picture.

Mini Cupcakes
These are mini cupcakes I made for my daughter's pre-k class to celebrate her birthday. They are a perfect size for little hands. They are confeti flavor with buttercream icing.
