My final project for Wilton Course III class. I had to make a wedding cake. I learned how to use fondant, and stack or pillar cakes. I chose to do a pillar cake. The top cake was yellow with chocoate filling, covered with marshmallow fondant. The bottom cake was chocolate with vanilla filling, covered with marshamallow fondant. The roses are made from marshmallow fondant. The top cake was decorated with a simple pearl like design. The bottom cake was decorated with cornelli lace.

Wilton Course II
This cake was the final cake I had to make for the Wilton II course. Throughout this course I learned how to make different flowers, do basketweave decorating and make color flow pieces (the birds). The end result was bringing everything I learned into one cake. This was a yellow cake filled with chocolate, and iced with buttercream frosting. Joe's work got to "enjoy" my hard work.

Wilton Course I
These are my cakes from Wilton Course I class that I took during Summer 2006. The horseshoe was for a co-worker who was leaving for a new job. It was a yellow cake with buttercream frosting. The flower cake was a strawberry cake with whipped icing. It was enjoyed by my family.
